So I'm not sure where to post this so sorry if it is in the category. But somedays when I'm in my blazer I can smell sulfur and I know that some energy and manufacturing plants give off a sulfur smell. But I also know that if your cat converter is cloging up it can smell like sulfur, I make note of diesel trucks in front of me but what do you guys think? I don't know if the milage would amount to anything for a cloged converter but I only have 131573 miles on the blazer.

 

Have your exhaust system checked out to make sure you don't have a leak. You don't want to take a chance of exhaust gases getting into the cab.

 

Catalytic converters rarely unclog themselves, but you may be experiencing the onset of a clogged converter. Have you made sure that it is your vehicle that you are catching a whiff off of?
