where is the ignition control module located and what does it control?

Was a new thread really necessary?? Could have just asked it in your hesitation thread...

It controls the engine ignition system (spark). It is located on the same bracket as the coil; towards the passenger side of the engine between the throttle body and the distributor on the 2nd gens.
