ok, i noticed this started happening the other day when driving home after a 4 hour car ride.
i was doing 75 for about 3 hours straight, got off the freeway into a rest area and stopped at the stop sign. when i stopped, my interior lights dimmed bad. i looked down and the voltage dipped to about 12.5 instead of resting at its usual 14.5
didn't happen again until yesterday twice and a few times today.
tonight i was doing 40 on a main road for a good 10 miles and then hit a michigan left and came to a complete halt and it happened again.
in the last month i replaced the battery and had the alternator checked and was told its ok. i have a system but i have the gain turned way down on the sub amp and am never pulling any more than 20 amps instead of the 50-60 i was pulling when the bass hit.
anyone have any idea whats going on? i have the negative on my battery upgraded also if that helps
