Ah so this is a 2004 Trailblazer.. Well that changes the game. Given that information, I could have directed you to your problem straight away. That is what our GMT460/470 forum section is for.
Glad you found the solution. Your '04 TB isn't really any different from my '04 Rainier and I have all of the service manuals and technical service bulletins for these trucks.
