Ignition switch problem ?

What year, 2 door or 4 door, automatic trans or manual, ZR2, LS or LT?

If you leave the old PCM in the vehicle, you will need to have it flashed to your VIN and the crankshaft position sensor relearn must be performed. Both are mandatory, not optional. If you reinstall the original PCM, nothing needs to be done to it.

Solved
chased this problem 2 years, swapped ignition still no go. Found it just recently that new ignition was bad and not firing all accessory etc. Especially when cold. Try a command start, that bypasses everything from the switch.

To find out if an intermittent ignition switch is your problem, get your dvm out and connect it to either the input or output of the switch with a jumper lead and see what youve got when it dies. No power in then its not the switch. Good power in and no relevent power out then its the switch.
When part of the fuse block/dash/etc dies, please report which functions are lost which helps us find the fault.
