Default i'm new please help.

hey guys, i'm new to this so any help will greatly be appreciated. i have a 96 four door blazer with the 4.3 in it. i was driving down the road the other day and i looked down at the volt meter and it had bottomed out on the dead side. next thing i know all the warning lights came on and the whole truck shut down. first thing i thought was the alternator. so i pulled it off and had it tested. it passed three times. so i bought a new battery and put it on and it was all good. i drove it all the way to work this morning (85 miles one way) then drove back home when i got home i looked down and the volt meter had dropped again and the battery light came on. can anyone tell me what the hell is going on!!!! please help.

Are all the connections to/from the battery and alternator good? Have you tested all of the wiring between the alternator/battery and their respective main junction points?

It's most likely something to do with the it' alternator or battery but if it's not what does it do when you try to start it? Also make sure your wires to the starter are making good contact that kept my blazer from starting once guess they got a little loose from hitting a bump or something.
