injectors

Is it possible to clean fuel injectors with gas a toothbrush ?

i dont think so you can try if you have the injectors out dropping them into a bucket or small pale of injector cleaner and just let them soak that might work a lil bit i havent heard of scrubbing them with a toothbrush though if it works another member will post to advise on that.

I would try running some injector cleaner through the gas tank before removing the injectors.
I don't know what good a toothbrush would do. A toothbrush could clean the outside of the injector but not the insides.

ok I was just wondering me and friend were talking about it and I didn't know if it was possible and what good that it would do.

Not with the injectors used in our engines. For a 2003, you have the updated MFI spider which is much better at resisting buildup at the injector. Not to mention you have to tear the whole upper plenum off to get to the injection spider.

I would just run some Chevron w/ Techron through at every oil change and call it good!
