Default injectors

I have a 99 S-10 4x4 Blazer. I bought it as a repo and knew it had water in the oil but was betting on a blown head gasket. I lost, the motor was locked up. I got an engine from a salvage yard and it had a stuck valve, motor would not rotate all the way through. I had to get #2 motor. It turned out good but I have been fighting a miss. I replaced all new ignition components and still had a miss. Anyway it come down to injectors. I cleaned another set from the old engine in a ultrasonic cleaner. I cleaned the injector and poppet and blew them out did i mess them up. I was thinking about putting them in tomorrow.

Default injectors

A lot of white oily junk came out of the micro filter where the fuel inters the injector. A couple plugs came out with out me knowing it between the 2 terminals when I blew them out. I am not sure what they were there for. It looked like they were poured in to prevent tampering. Anyway I put new o-rings on and cleaned the meter block put oil on the o-rings and put them in. I am going to try it tomorrow. Thanks for the reply. Have you run yours after cleaning.

Default cleaning injectors

Hey I discovered earlier today I can pull the poppet tubes off the bottom of the injectors and use a syringe and needle to put cleaning fluid in the tube and take a blow gun and shot about 70 psi and the poppet will pop and spray, cleaning out the poppet.John.
