I wonder why mine didn't come with those threaded mounts.

I am thinking about a rivet insert nut but the cover is about 1/4" wide and the hole is supposed to be 19/64"

That's why I went with 1/8" rivets instead of nutserts.

I like those rivet nut inserts but you only have so much room.

The fan mounted ...I will adjust to get the fan closer

I used rivet nuts into the fan shroud

Very nice! Did you do the welding yourself? That is a skill I wouldn't mind learning someday.

Have you found a good thread or advice on how to hook up the fan wiring?

I had a fab shop make the brackets for $40 and I used a fan controller and wire it up per the instruction off the battery and off of the fuse block under hood.

The fit of the fans is too tight right now need to why it it touching the water pump nose thread for the thermostatic clutch.
