Hi,
Has anyone installed a circulating tank heater in a Blazer?
I picked one up today(Kat's 1000w)as my 187,000 95 Blazer has a hard time starting with our -19 degree mornings lately. Trys to catch and just stumbles. 0 degrees its fine but -19 it doesnt like(Dry gas and super)...
My question for anyone that has a tank type heater is where did they tap into the cooling system?
Thanks in advance.

The return line from the heater looks like a good spot(Thanks) ,nowto find where I can draw from???...There are block drains under the exhaust manifolds(One on each bank)but there doesnt look to be enough room for the fitting and or thehose. The radiator drain is another place but there isnt anymore room under that.
Think I may have to re-think as the Gm engineers didnt seem to leave any extra room in the engine bay...
I miss my full size older pickup's.You could sit on the inner wheel well and work on your engine...
