OKay, so a few months ago, the door pins and bushings were VERY bad on my 01 Blazer, and we changed them out, but every since the door pins started going, i had trouble with the power inside the truck. The key after it is taken out, if the doors are not opened it used to play the radio, for a short peroid of time, now it won't. and the interior light that comes on when you open the doors, won't shut off. i have to manually keep it off. Before that started going, i would be driving and it would just pop on. (scary at night lol) but anyways. How can i fix the interior light, and make my truck do what it used to after i took the key out the ignition?? any suggestions?

As far as the lights go, the door pins sticking out the sides of your dash are probably broken or just screwed. Same thing happened to me with the lights staying on, when I replaced them on both sides it stopped. As far as the radio staying on after you remove the key, mine has never done that.

If its not any of the side door switches then dont forget the rear hatch switches. Once my rear glass wasnt shut completely and I lived with this problem for two days before I realized it. Yes, my radio stays on after removing the key for about 20 mins or until you activate the interior lights.

On my 01 Jimmy, the radio stays on, after the key is out(or off), until you open the door(or 20 minutes, when the override kicks it off).
My bushings are shot, too, and I just replaced them a few months ago. My holes are wallered!!! lol. I'm going to try putting new bushings in, with some JB Weld around them, and let them sit for awhile, before I put the door back on. Hopefully the JB will fix my eggshaped hole!
