Intermittent Rear Windshield Wiper

Intermittent Rear Windshield Wiper
My rear windshield wiper will work when it wants to. In the morning it doesn't seem to work but as the sun comes out it starts to get it's senses and begins to work for me.
I have sometimes "fixed" it by opening my rear hatch and closing it again.
I think its a connection somewhere though I have no idea where to start to begin diagnosing. Any Ideas?

You will need to get inside the tailgate/hatch. I would remove the wiper motor and go over it with a fine toothed comb. Run it while it is out of the truck to make sure that it responds as it should. If possible, dismantle it and clean everything out. I have seen corrosion on the output shaft cause intermittent lock up.

Understood. Will have an update when I get it pulled apart.

Kind of a common issue with these cars.
I have some pics of what you will see when you open it up . I need an e-mail address if you are interested
