intermittent scrapping sound from rear brakes
I have just noticed an intermittent scraping sound from the rear passenger side wheel. Sounds like scraping on the rotor. It may also be coming from the driver side rear wheel but it is definitely coming from the passenger side. I havn't inspected it yet since I just discovered it. I just wanted to get some opinions on what it could be or what it most likely is.
I'm guessing, warped rotor or wheel bearing or some other thing causing friction at the same pointof every rotation of the wheel. It's most noticeable at lower speeds but goes away when I apply the brakes.
Ideas?? thanks

RE: intermittent scrapping sound from rear brakes
Most likely is being caused by the spring clips on the caliper brackets. As the outer edge of the rotor rusts, it will stick out further and sooner or later it will rub.
