Awesome, it just sounded odd to me. Compression test is next on agenda. Slowly Blazer is running a little smoother each time I effect these repairs, so close to back purring like a kitten

 

So, if I understand You right, You seem to have a misfire symptoms on a random cylinders, not the specific one...?
If the spark is intermittent on the other plugs as well, it may be the coil or an ignition module too.

 

Strange happenings, replaced tune up components and cylinder 4 misfire showed up. Changed rotor, then plug in #4, started random misfires (P0300) so put the other rotor back in (AC Delco) and reverted back to cylinder 4 misfire

 

Update, replaced a sloppy distributor that had too much play in rotor as well as vertical play. Completed compression test and found 0 PSI in cylinder 4. Pulling valve cover and head to repair. Thanks for all your help with this
