Default Intermittent tach problem

Here's one for ya ,2000 zr2 , on any given day can be driving along usually at cruising speed, I will get a single missfire and the tach will drop to o ,still runs fine might drive 1 mile or 20 and tach comes back. Doesn't do it every day and not associated with bumps load exceleration etc any ideas

Only time I experienced anything like that was on my Cobalt, and it turned out to be the crank sensor. There was extreme driveability issues with it, though, so might not be your issue
