Default intermittent wiper malfunction

my wipers on my 98 blazer work most of the time, but cut out sometimes at random. the only thing it's not is a fuse. has anyone else seen this? if so, what fixed it? thanks Ron

Do a search for "cold solder" on this site, you'll find exactly how to fix it. Here's a link to what you need.https://blazerforum.com/m_56980/tm.htm

Yeah Ron, i had the same problem with my 98. It was fine until it started raining and then was intermittent, then nothing after a few minutes. What I had to do was replace the motor/fuse connection on the engine side of the firewall. it's a black box just a couple inches down from the wipers. Since then, everything's been fine. Hope this helps!
