So after replacing the FPR and now havinga fuel leak I noticed that coolant is coming from the front of the engine which appears to be a small lower intake gasket leak. I'm on a very strict budget andI know this can be like $700 bucks to fix. The leak is very small, but will be putting it off a little bit till funds get better add damage as in collant going into the oil? Again it's coming from the middle front of the engine. Thanks a lot. The truck runs well nwo that the FPR is fixed and only has 120k on it so I don't want to junk it.

You can fix it yourself for no more than the cost of the gaskets and some coolant. It will take an entire day, but it's not overly complex. Just alot of stuff to take off. Haynes manual does a decent job of covering this task, and there's enough info on this board to help out if you get stuck.
Otherwise, you probably are looking at a $500-$700 repair bill depending on the garage.
I know how you feel though. It sucks. You spend the time /money to fix a problem, then the very next day something completely different fails. Been there.
I did my intake gaskets on a weekend. The very next day (Monday) I was driving it to work and the heater core popped.[:@]I wanted to drive it off a cliff.

The intake gasket is easy. You need maybe mild knowledge. I did it within a few hours, i just had a problem starting it back up seeing i didn't mark the distributer :-) That took me some time, but thanks to the guys on here once i read one of their threads i was up and running in 30 minutes

Thanks guys. Will it harm the motor if i put it off a few weeks? Again leak is small. Not even dripping yet. Just wet.

If it is not getting into the oil and you keep the radiator topped up, you should have nothing to worry about.

watch your coolant consumption REAL close-you may be just seeing residue-your luck may be different than mine in that it may not be as bad as you think. Monitor the coolant consumption. JP I've seen these where there is minor residue on that front 'valley' bead of RTV[sm=devilgrin.gif]
