Could the heat from a warm day cause the stalling? Could it affect the fuel pump somehow? The stalling just started happening a few days ago since the outside temperature has warmed up. I took it for a early morning drive for about 30 km and it did not stall. It was about 13° c outside. Only during the heat of the day has it had issues. But each time it stalls, I wait a few minutes, and it restarts easily and allows me to drive a few more miles until it stalks again. Almost like a vapor lock condition?

When it stalls, check for spark at the coil output lead to the distributor. This might be an ignition module or coil failure when they get warmed-up. So much easier than dropping the fuel tank.
