Well, I cleaned the 2" of new snow off this morning and started her up.
Yea! No snow came out the defrosters!
It must have been just the right conditions yesterday for it to happen.
I'm super relieved that it's nothing serious.

Many thanks for your responses.

my old offroad k5 blazer didnt have a/c so needless to say all summer the fan never got used, soon as you turned it on for defrost in the winter it was like someone through a cup of dirt/leaves in there and it blows out all over the place, actually kind of funny when it happens

I probably would have started singing "let it snow, let it snow"

When I think about it now, it WAS pretty funny, lol I wish I could have seen the look on my face when it happened.

You think that's bad? A while back I used walnut medium to sandblast some paint on mine... didn't think to cover the cowl. ...Yeah I was showered with walnut chunks for a good month, I swear it was breeding in there. I still get the occasional chunk too.

If it makes you feel any better, we got about 6-7 " of rain last night/this morning. Managed to get myself just right to oncoming traffic and got a generous face washing inside the blazer. The windows was only cracked about 1.5" but it was like getting punched by water and road salt.
