That secondary air flow thing is your secondary air pump. It is for emmisions. GM wasn;t thinking right when they put the air tube for that pump. They put it down under the engine and when water gets in there it burns out your secondary air pump. You have to get a new secondary air pump and rerun the hose for it to the top of the engine. This is a pain in the but. I had to get it replaced twice. It cost me 500 clams to get it down the first time. Its a pain and expensive and pointless. But a must cause of that light. All it does is make your emmsions cleaner. Thats what that secondary air flow code is, trust me.

look there is nothing wroung with k&n. it is smoething simple. put the old set up back on and see if the problem goes away. if it does try the k&n again. make sure your mass airflow senor is going the correct way. check all your wires again. i am telling you it is something simple

There actually is something wrong with K&N (and all aftermarket oiled air filters). The oil that they use comes out of the filter and contaminates the MAF and IAT sensor. You may be able to clean the sensors though, but the trick is to make sure that the filter is not over oiled. Most are over oiled out of the box.
