Key issue
Hey everybody,
how does the key ignition work with the blazers. I have no problem starting or anything but for the past month or so when I go to remove the key it won't turn all the way back and stops in the on position for a couple minutes then I can tub the key the rest of the way and remove it. Anyone had this happen to them and/or know a fix?
Thanks

No, I've never had the security light ever come on actually. I think I need to replace the cluster though cause i have never had a 4wd light, washer fluid, a couple others had never come on... And my odomerter went out recently too haha. Would the security hold the key in for some reason?
If a security light is on there is a good chance the ignition switch is failing. That could be tied in with the key issue. THe light itself wouldnt hold the key in, but a bad swtich might. I'd go ahead and replace the cluster so you know if your truck is trying to tell you something (but you can't see it due to a bad cluster.)
