Keyless Entry/Remote Start

Keyless Entry/Remote Start
First off, this website has been a virtual bible of knowledge to keep me occupied tinkering with my Blazer, and I appreciate the help that everyone has already given me.
Now the real question....
So I've been researching the possibility of installing a keyless entry/remote start system into my 02 Blazer, but I'm confused whether or not it will work. It did not come stock with keyless entry and does not have the correct code for the wiring in the glovebox (AU0 I believe). I have read mods that involve removing the ECM from a different Blazer with keyless entry, getting it reprogrammed, etc, but I would prefer not to go that route. If I was to install an aftermarket system (as opposed to OEM), do I still need to get the ECM reprogrammed? Thanks.

I installed a Bulldog brand starter/keyless entry in my 95. Used the optional T-Harness to make things WAY easier. I did not have to remove or reprogram anything. Plus the units are vary reasonably priced.
