Default Knock Sensor in a 2004

Anyone know where the knock sensor(s?) is on a 2004 Blazer? I need to check mine out and maybe replace it. The autozone 'where is my part' thing didn't have any info on a 2004 Blazer.

THANKS!

This should help:

Yours just bolts on instead of threading on like the 96 thru mid-02.

THANKS! I can see from the picture where it is, but I'm not sure how to get there. I can't even see that part of the engine, much less reach it.

This might be beyond my ability. It looks like I'll have to remove a LOT of stuff to get to where I can reach the knock sensor.

Any advice?
(sorry for the stupid questions)

The only stupid question is one not asked.

Sadly, you do need to remove some things to get to it. you should be able to get at it with your hand by moving the wiring harness, etc off to the side a bit. A swivel extension, and socket will get to the bolt. A mechanics mirror can be a life saver in a case like this.

i have an '02 2wd drive that needs its knock sensor replaced. I am pretty sure I found it in the back of the engine, but is there a better way to double check by the VIN on when the changed the location?
