i have a 97 blazer ls 4dr 4x4, when ever i start uphill or any road condition that makes the engine pull i hear a iregular ticking noise almost like the valves rateling but its only when th engine is pulling at about 2500 or 3000 or higher rpm. anybody have any sugestions on what the problem is?

To a certain degree that's not unusual under those conditions. Several vehicles have done that with me. Had a tune-up recently? Try one octane gas grade higher and see if it does it.

recent tune up new spark plugs and wires. regular maintenance. all oil change records. garage kept till i got it. very well maintained truck. still never had an engine light come on. its not that bad and it dosnt do it all the time. i run 93 octane gas without ethonal. that seams to get me the best mpg and least knock. im thinkin it might be a knock sensor issue. thanks for the sugestions. i apreciate it
