If a shop has a bi directional scan tool they can do it, I would call local shops and get price quotes before going to a dealer.

If you don't have a bidirectional scan tool, ($1K or more) you'll need to take the vehicle to a shop that has one. The ECM is using data from the last time the relearn was performed with the original sensor. The ECM has no way of "knowing" the sensor has been replaced and it will not set DTC, but the engine will not run correctly until the relearn is performed with the new sensor.

Default Fixed

Finally fixed my problem. It ended up being the fuel pump, even though it was only a year old. I got the old one from advance auto and the new one from napa. Just sayin. I actually think that the new gas station in our area has their gas loaded up with ethanol..... more than 10%. I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not but I'll go else where from now on. I have had trouble with my boat when I got gas there but with it being an outboard I thought it was an isolated case now not sure. But its fixed for now.

Glad you got her fixed, thanks for posting back. One year is actually pretty good for an aftermarket pump. Sometimes they don't even make it out the door!

No. All it was giving me was random misfire, bank 1 sensor 1 low voltage bank 1 sensor 2 low voltage, and once in a while low coolant temperature. Not sure about the low coolant temp but it has popped up since it has been running ok. Any other questions feel free to ask. I wouldn't wish what I went through on any one. One other thing, the fuel pump I just put in is allot quieter than the old one. Doesn't have as loud a whine to it.

Oh yea one other thing. After I would clear all the codes I could run it for a while before it would throw another code. It mighta been 1 hour or one day it wouldn't come on right away. Even running a little rough it would take a little bit sometimes.
