Default Left rear turn signal and brake light not working

I have a 1999 S10 Blazer. The drivers side rear turn signal and brake light is not working. I have checked the bulbs and that is not the problem. The parking lights are working ok.

Any suggestions??

Thanks,
Jim

have you tried changing the bulb or just looked at it, i've had bulbs that were bad but looked good.

I would remove the bulbs and check the contacts where the bulbs press in. If there is any corrosion here, it can cause the bright circuit in the bulbs to not work correctly.

Exactly. I have been fooled by looking at bulbs before. Either check it with an ohmeter or replace or replace the bulb. That's where I'd start.

yes... the bulbs have been replaced. But as luck would have it, they have started working again last night. It seems to be hit or miss.
