light goes out fault code still shows
to the best of my knowledge...(that is questionable)...If you are allowed 1 test to be incomplete...and the rest are complete...and no service engine soon light is illuminated...I have never seen a vehicle fail. I want to make it clear, though, I haven't seen it all...good luck-gotta love emission Inspections.......Jerry
So it passed, I was allowed 1 test not to run, the evap sometimes doesn't run for months. so I guess torque doesn't know the difference between a current and historic fault, so if the light is off it is historic. once the secondary air test passed the catalyst ran and passed, which kinda makes sense since they are dependent. I actually had the vacuum switch bypassed, and a good check valve on the wrong side of the pump when I made it pass, as soon as I have free time and is cool enough to work on at the same time I'll put it together correctly.
