Looking for AC box internal replacement parts.
I currently have the AC box from behind the dashboard pulled out in my Blazer. I'm replacing a heater core and I'm taking the opportunity to replace any worn out vacuum lines, actuators, and etc while I have the AC box out.
I'm looking for a couple parts I can't seem to find on auto part websites.
Here's what I'm looking for:
I'm looking for a couple parts I can't seem to find on auto part websites.
Here's what I'm looking for:
- A new return spring for the actuator that controls the blend door for the windsheild vent. This one seem to be worn out because it doesn't hold the door 100% closed and it feels too easy to compress in my hand.
- Some kind of molded rubber foam gasket that goes between the heater core compartment and the firewall opening where the condenser housing is. This one peeled off and lost some adhesiveness.
- Some foam padding that covers the blend doors. Heater core leaked and stained the inside foam. Replacing the stained foam to get rid of the coolant smell.
- A replacement vacuum line set that goes from the AC box to the control panel. The vacuum lines at the switch have a leak that been difficult to patch. I tried taking the switch apart and sandwiched everything back together, but the vacuum leak is still there. I figure a vacuum line replacement would be easier. I have found a few AC control panels, but nothing that works for an S10. I also don't see if the vacuum lines come with any of these either.

I found the AC control panel but it doesn't come with a new vacuum line attachment.
