Default Looking for help to tighten brake pedal (rattling brake pedal)

I have a very loose brake pedal that will rattle when I go over bumps or even under normal driving sometimes, it’s driving me nuts and has recently gotten worse so I now will fix it. I have the dash panels off so I can see what’s going on. I can visually see that it is loose on the pivot bolt I’m just not sure how to tighten it. One side has no opening and the other side is all blocked by the footwell module. Am going crazy trying to figure this out if anyone has done this in the past and could share what they did that would be much appreciated!!

Could you post some pictures?

Perhaps it is missing a bushing?

Here is the best I could do. Looks like it still has that white plastic bushing in it, it has just worn with time it looks like.

I found a video of a guy pulling the pedal out on YouTube because he needed to drill a new hole into it and he shows that there is a small access hole right at the back on the right side at the very top of the steering column support and that’s how you access the bolt to take the pedal out. I tried for a good bit today just to get access to that bolt from below and it is definitely a no go with the dash on there’s just no space. The YouTube video is
and he takes the pedal off at the 11:00 mark. So I guess that’s it as I don’t think I will be taking the whole dash out just to fix my rattling brake pedal Attached is a video showing the rattle.
