I just bought a 2003 LS. The loud noise is coming from right front. It doesn't matter whether it is in 4x4 or not. Sounds like someone is hitting the front axle with a hammer and about as loud as a firecracker. Usually happens on the bounce, but not the rebound. Doesn't always happen when I hit bumps, but always seems to happen when I'm turning left. Any help would be appreciated. I'm a DIYer. Thanks.
