I'm getting a loud pop when I first start backing out of the garage and also happens while turning left or right. I have a 01 Blazer LS 4X4. New upper and lower ball joints both sides and all new tie rods as well. Am I looking at CV shafts or could it be something else?

Sounds like my 00 blazer. I'm thinking it maybe the torsion bars.

 

Take a look at the hinge bolts for the hood. Almost impossible to figure out. Pop the hood and see if you have some movement on either side.
