Hey, I have a 96 blazer 4x4 with 18 gallon tank and have had the truck for over a year now and always wondered if there was a low fuel light. I'm pretty sure there isn't, but I haven't driven it too close to E for the fear of running out. Any thoughts will help,,, Thanks

It doesn't. I found out with my 97. Ran clean out of gas, luckily I was prepared and had a gas can, as I was testing my gage. I think that came with the 98's and up.

My 95 didn't. And my 98 did. So you're in a two year "iffy" window. Yeah, I wasn't much help, either. Sorry.

my 99 has a multi-functional fuel gauge system: full, down to half or a little below, then low fuel light, with the gauge floating around. tells me it's time to get gas, lol.

On my 97 on the overhead console it displays a warning message if the fuel is that low I forget what it says but last week I saw it on the way to get gas.
EDIT you have to have the console showing so it tells you how far you can go with your fuel remaining.
