Well I mucked it up!! Lost the distributor setting. Please HELP....How do i reset? Haynes maual ...no help.

If you have the horizontal wire terminals on the cap, follow the EDI engine timing thread in the Tech Article (DIY) section.

you guys are the best. job done minimal problems.EDI engine timing thread so clear that it made life very easy. engine light off engine idling at 700RPM the best since i had the truck. thank you all for your time and help.

i know he was working on a '95, but is this the same for the '94's as well?

i'm putting on a polished unit on my brother's '83 this Winter, and i can't find my manuals for those trucks, since i moved last year. most of the stuff for thesetrucks is stored in memory, but bolt torque/tightening sequence isn't something you (normaully) do on a regular basiss.
