Default Lower radiator hose

Good morning!

Checking fluids this morning and noticed lower rad hose sucked flat in the center between radiator and water pump? What the hell does that mean? Thanks. Mind you, new hose about 2 months ago when I replaced water pump

You may need a new radiator cap. As the engine cools, it's supposed to suck coolant back from the reservoir. It looks like your cap is not allowing it to do so.

I've heard of this but never seen it, pretty blatant.

Mine did that when my water pump seized... and when the radiator clogged... try flushing it out, I lucked out and got an almost new one from the yard...

Edit: I did notice the new pump you installed.

Hows the fluid color?

When cooling, the contracting coolant leaves a depression in the system. It should pull liquid from the expansion reservoir as stated before through the cap.

To avoid the collapsing of the coolant hoses, most have a spiral spring style insert in order not to collapse but to draw from the expansion reservoir.
