Hi I have a 95 4.3 vortec blazer and was just wondering if anyone knows where the MAF sensor is located and how to get to it so i could clean it. The air filter location is not the same as the 96+ models where the air filter just lays down flat. On mine the air filter stands up kind of against the front of the inside of the engine bay. I think the MAF sensor is located under the vortec plastic plate but im not sure. Any ideas?

well most mafs are almost exactly the same, a big metal ring type thing about 3-4inches wide, and has a very large box like plug attacheed to it, im srry if this didnt help, only thing i think couldve help you

 

thanks but ive also heard the 95s dont have a MAF sensor. Can this be a possibility?

 

No MAF. The MAF sensor was not used in the s-series SUV until '96.
