manifold gaskets changed now the trk wont start/no fuel

Cool manifold gaskets changed now the trk wont start/no fuel

changed intake gaskets... now my 4.3 cranks but no start... engine ran good before i changed gaskets... i dont think fuel is getting to fuel injectors/spider poppets... 2001 4.3

Did you mark your distributor when you pulled it and put it back in the exact right spot?

xmradioguy >>> yup.... not the spark.... am sure its a fuel problem.... spark plugs dry and no gas smell inside plenum... distributor is the one that is right on or out 180 degrees... distributor is in right.... thank you for ur reply

In the top pages of the 2nd gen forums there are stickys for diagnosing start troubles. If you search there is also a post for the edi distributor to be sure its installed correctly.

thanks... distributor was off, wasnt pointed at the 6 on the distributor.... followed edi instructions to the tee, and the trk jumped to life... first turn of the crank...
