Default Mushy brakes

My daughters 03 Blazer has been having brake issues. however trying to get out of her exactly what its doing is "iffy". I got the thing today and the brakes were spongy, and the front brakes were pretty well gone. New rotors (getting the old completely worn out rotors off was some chore), new brakes on everything buttoned up and now the brakes go to the floor. they can be pumped up, but with pressure on the pedal, the brakes bleed back to the floor.. I am ready to get the new master cylinder, but this truck has had more secret buttons. switches and procedures to repair normal stuff.

What parts were replaced?
Did you open any bleeders when you did the brakes?
Have you checked all of the lines for brake fluid leaks?
Is the red BRAKE light illuminated on the dash when the vehicle is running?
Have you tried to bleed the system? If so, how did you do it?

I got the flu in the middle of this whole episode so I kinda threw in the towel.. BUT.. I replaced the front rotors and pads and as I said, the brakes got worse? Seemed to me to be the dreaded internal leak in the master cylinder..

Replaced the master cylinder, got the lines and tight (the front line didnt want to seal at first).. the the brakes would firm right up but on release get mushy.. got the flu right in the middle of this and drove it to a little shop near here and told them to bleed the brakes and hook up the parking brake that they never hooked up when they replaced the rear axle the daughter blew up..

Riiiing.... the bleeders were rusted into the calipers.. (they had to replace one of the rears when they did the rear end replacement).. two new calipers and brakes bled.. I need for my daughter to find a rich man soon!!

Thanks for the response!
