Default Mysterious noise from front end, sounds like passenger side

Hi all, I just bought my 02 2 door 5 speed blazer last week and up until now it has been great.

I was driving on the highway today coming homr from work and all of a sudden I started getting this loud moaning sound from the front end and sounds like coming from the passenger side wheel well. I got home and backed in the driveway and noticed I don't get the noise while in reverse.

I pulled off the wheel and searched but couldn't find anything, I checked my driveshaft and my exhaust to see if it may have been something rubbing there but again nothing.

This noise is really loud and sounds bad so it has me nervous but I can't figure out what it is so I'm hoping someone here may be able to give me some ideas. At times it almost sounds like.rubbing plastic but there's.nothing hanging or rubbing anywhere

I took a sound clip with my phone but the file is too big to upload here and I have no idea how to shorten it if I can. If anyone has any ideas how I could make that accessible I'm all for it if it helps figure out the problem

Did you check for any play in the wheel when you had it jacked up?

There was a slight amount of play from what Im pretty sure is the wheel bearing but its still too tight to even feel any real shaking or abs problems from it

Just because there is no play doesn't mean it's good I've replaced plenty of hubs that had no play but the bearings were jacked. Better to replace it now before it gets worse... just my .02

Sounds to me like a wheel bearing.

Make sure that you tighten the axle but to 103 foot pounds or the bearing won't last long.

Its the hub bearing. I've just had to do both of mine.
