Mysterious Starting Problem-Yes I researched first.

Ok, so I've been researching here for quite some time now and haven't found an answer to my problem. For about 4 months my 2002 Chevy Blazer 4.3 with 150k miles has been hard to start while the engine is cold. Sometimes after about 6 attempts of sputtering the engine would finally start and run fine all day. Now after a trip to the parts store for parts to another vehicle the Blazer will not start or run at all. No diagnostic codes are present. The fuel supply line was pulled from the spider and there seemed to be plenty of fuel pressure. The intake manifold gasket was replaced and the whole spider assembly has since been replaced, along with the cap and rotor. Checked spark on #1 cylinder and it checked OK. Vehicle will sputter when ether is sprayed into the throttle body while cranking but will not run. I am extremely annoyed at this point and can't afford to throw any more money at this.
I also will get a fuel pressure gauge if needed...but did not have access to one today. I was too busy wanting to run my Blazer into a tree.

You have done your homework, but one must check fuel pressure with a gauge, because even 20lbs of pressure in a small line may"seem to be plenty" to the naked eye, when it's not even close. I would also be inclined to consider a weak ignition coil and or module. In my experience, coil can pose firing issues when cold, and the module when hot. A complete electrical tune is in order:wires, plugs, coil etc. Also check the condition of the alt/ battery cables!

+1, start with the fuel pressure and leakdown test. With the key on and engine off, the psi should be between 60 and 65 and not go below 55 for 10 minutes. Post back you initial and 10 minute later numbers. Have you changed your fuel filter?
