Need 98 Blazer CC Wiring Diagram
I need the wiring diagram for the cruise control system on a 1998 Chevy Blazer. I can't find it anywhere. Please help.

What kind of problem are you experiencing?

My cruise control works about 10% of the time. When it works, it works fine for about five to ten minutes. Then it shuts off and wont work. I have replaced the brake light switch and was considering replacing the main control unit. But the part is $350 and is non-refundable. That sucks. My uncle requested that I find the wiring diagram for the blazer, but I am having no luck. I have the Hayne's Repair Manual, but the book only lists the 95 and older series.

Anybody have any thoughts?

Did you see the attachment above??

Yes. Thanks. I was looking to see if anyone thought about where I should start working at. I am thinking it's the control module. Was seeing if I had reinforcements.

Updating. I have fixed my cruise control issue. After doing some investigating and some serious thinking, I have determined that it was either the turn signal/windshield washer/cruise control lever OR it was the actual cruise control module. Well, the lever to me didn't make sense because EVERYTHING else works without fail and the only thing that didn't was the cruise. But it worked periodically. So with that eliminated out of my thought processes, I went to a junk yard and pulled a Cruise Contol Module out of a junked truck. $20. It was three nuts to take off and I had to pull the throttle cable off and that was it. It took about 10 minutes from start to finish to replace it. Sure enough, that did it. Thanks for the help guys!

Here's a 1992 drawing. I think our is similar. I've found the units quite reliable, but occasionally, one will "wear out" internally, that is the gears wear till they no longer "touch". Drivers with good hearing may hear a short "zip" sound during the first mile they drive their truck. This is an indication the cruise module has bad gears.
