Need Help asap
Ok, the other day my blazer had some wiered electrical problems. It all started when driving with my friend, we were at a red light and my cd player just shut off. Around two hours later it did the same thing, then an hour after that it did it again and needed to have the stations reprogramed. Later that night I was turning and my blazer just shut off, everything except the headlights. This morning I tried to start it but only to find out that my blazers battery is totally dead, if possible can you please let me know what you think the problem it, thanks.
Could it be the alternator, completely crapping out?
On my 95, within about 10 minutes, mine went from running perfect, to barely even able to idle, or run any accessories. Made it to the Autozone parking lot(it was a Sunday, so no garages were even open). They tested the alternator, and it had completely died. Thank god I had enough tools to change it there, because there's no way it would've made it home.(I guess because there wasn't enough juice left in the battery, to run the computer).

Yes it is a aftermarket radio, its a flip out touch screen but I thought when I got it, it would be wise to have a audio shop install it so I did. Could the wires on the starter cause just the radio to turn off though?
I'm betting that there is a wiring problem. Most likely a main power wire with the insulation rubbed off. If I were you, I would pull the stereo out and have a good look at the wiring as far back as you can.
