Need Help asap
i have a 1997 Chevy Blazer LT, my truck stopped running, replaced the fuel filter, stuff comming out was black, tryed to start, gets fuel all the way up to the injector(s), cranks wont start, uses all the fuel that gets put in it thru the throttle body(?), my main question is, were are the fuel injector(s) because right now, i have this black peice, with 2 "holes" one looks like a "tube" comming out of the side, that would plug into a hose, the other is at the bottom which is just a "small protruding" circle, has words on it says "DELPHI1997250" or "DELPHI1237250" ill post a picture, but you cant really see due to crappy camera
i dont think its the injector, but my friend thinks it is

The EVAP purge solenoid is what is pictured. Put that back on. It doesn't have anything to do with the fuel supply to the engine and deals solely with evaporative emissions from the fuel system.
Your fuel injectors and fuel pressure regulator are located under the intake plenum. Test the fuel pressure with a gauge connected to the test port on the main fuel line on top of the engine. Check out the requirements in the Tech Article (DIY) Index link found in my signature.
