Need Help With Blazer 99'
Howdy folks.
I recently purchased a 1999 Chevy Blazer (2 door), and soon after purchasing it the car wouldnt start. I replaced the spark plugs and the battery and It cranked up.
Only more problems came after that as the car was shaking, idling at 550 rpm, and when I took it on a test drive, was hesitating when I pressed the gas pedal. I figured that I needed to run a fuel injector cleaner to clear out any debris which may be clogging up lines or injectors.
I went back this morning to administer the fuel system cleaner (Chevron W/ Techron Concentrate Plus), only to find out that the car would not crank again... I've been googling things all morning trying to figure out what it is. First thing was the fuel pump, I put my ear to the gas tank and had my mother turn the key for me and I could hear the fuel pump humming (so I believe its working). Next thing was someone told me to have someone try and crank the car and I hit the tank with a mallet to see if it cranks, and that didn't work. After that I read that it could be the Fuel Pump fuse relay, I have not tested this yet.
At this point I really don't know what to do, I bought the car for $800.00 thinking it was a steal cause it ran perfectly. Now i'm once again stuck with no transportation and probably a large bill ahead of me. If anyone can shed some light as to what I can do (Please be clear I am new to working on cars and not familiar with the lingo) I would greatly appreciate it. Also I live in Maryland so if anyone nearby would be willing to come help a brotha out I would appreciate that as well. Thanks.
TL: DR: After replacing spark plugs and battery, engine will turn but not crank up. I think its the fuel pump relay, but im not sure. Please help.

These are 2 very different problems, you need to be more clear with your question. If it does not turn over then it is not cranking, If it does not run then it is not starting.
You do not have to crank the engine too here the fuel pump, simply switching the key to ACC the fuel pump will run for a short while. You can make sure you are getting gas by pushing on the pressure release located at the back of the engine on the fuel rail. You can check for spark by pulling a plug wire putting a screwdriver or spark plug in it, holding it a 1\2 inch from the block and have someone turn the key or just grab a spark, its easier to do.
