Have you actually measured the fuel pressure with a pressure guage? Do you hava a check engine light on? Do you have any stored codes?
Could be a cold start sensor but at this point i am just guessing without more info.

It only takes 3 things to start an engine:
1. Air
2. Spark
3. Fuel
We assume the engine is getting air and you say that the fuel pressure is 'in spec', so what does that leave? Spark. Have you verified that you are getting fire to all the cylinders? And just to satisfy curiosity, do you remember what the actual fuel pressure readings were?

You may have a problem with the spider. Anyone else got an idea?

Classic symptom of low fuel pressure. For the CSFI system, 59psi is too low for the poppet valves to spray correctly. Key on, engine off, fuel pump running, pressure must be 60psi to 66psi and remain above 55psi for 3 to 5 minutes after the pump shuts off.
