Default need tranny help

i own a 96 blazer and the tranny has gone out twice... about once a year. anyways i dont mind how often it goes out because i know i abuse the thing.... anyways i bought a transmission and bought the big kk 4l60e instead of the second generation 4l60e... i cant buy another tranny so i would like to know if ther was a way to bypass the neutral saftey switch and get the thing to drive.... any feedback will be greatly appreciated i really need this truck

sorry.... it is i guess the first gen. 4l60E with the non removable bell housing and the removable inspection plate at the bottom there is usually a K on both sides of this tranny.... i have the one with the removable bell houseing and the neutral saftey on the linkage.... and way to make the older transmission (which was out of a 96 awd astro van of mine) work in my blazer? possible bypass of the saftey switch? i just need a solution to the switch and to know if it will shift.... thanks again
