Default New Blazer to the collection

Just bought a 2000 blazer 2 dr. Stole it for what i paid for it. Only prob i found so far is the headlights will not shut off unless the relay is pulled then they obviously dont come on at all. Im thinking the switch is bad????? How do i test it or any other ideas on what the prob could be?
Thanks

You do know you have DRL's (daytime running lights), right? If you want them off try pushing the dome override button four times.

And welcome to the forum!

Yes i know i have drls ive had several blazers drls do not stay on when the truck is off. its just the headlights that stay on. The lights are on even when the truck is off. I have to pull the relay to get them to go off. when the truck is running the drls function properly from the high beam side like they are supposed to but when i shut the truck off the regular low beams come on and stay on and the high beam indicator in the dash comes on. Im either thinking the headlight switch itself is bad or could it be the multifunction switch? I just changed one of those in my 01 blazer due to turn signal issues

Sounds like a problem with the multifunction switch.
