We just purchased a new 2004 Blazer and i must first off say i love it way better than my Explorer was. But i noticed right away it doesnt have the get up and go that the Explorer did i have been in other they get to 60mph pretty quick but this one struggles a bit. it goes from 0-50 easy but after that it slows way down is it gearing or i have heard the computers are programmed for fuel management etc... does anyone know how to make this thing get up and go quicker?

 

Boy, I have an 04 Blazer that zips right up to 85 or 90 with little effort. It will walk all over the Explorer I had.

 

Yeah im not sure its weird to me as to why its not as quick but its got way more power. It could be my gearing.
