new guy here need some help

Default new guy here need some help

ok i just picked up a 99 4 door right blinker is fine left blinker is fast all fuses and bulbs good.. is there 2 flashers???? and i was told by the past owner that it has a 4wd rear end but its a 2wd.. every thing is fine as far as driving it but the speedo is way off is there a diff in gear ratio and can i just change the speed sensor by throwing in a 4wd one or no..

speedo has to be calibrated via the computer. you'll need a speed shop or to purchase a hypertech 32000 handheld to change it. There are several different gear ratios that could be in your vehicle you will have to find out what's in it in order to have it calibrated properly.

As for the blinker question i have no idea.

If you look on the rear there's usually a tag on one of the bolts holding the cover on. If it's not there you can jack up the rear and put it on jackstands. Take the cover off, and count the teeth on the ring gear vs pinion. There's a formula to figure out the ratio that way if you google.
