Default New guy needs help

My 4x4 won't work, turn on key 3 lights in buttons light up for 2sec. then go out,no lights after that, checked fuses inc. fuse for dome light, all good, slaved in known good tccm, the one behind the pass.kick panel [MY blazer is a 2001] and still nothing. When i got the Blazer i knew nothing about them as i have always had jeep cherokees, now winter is almost here and my 4x4 don't work,is this a somewhat easy fix or am i screwed. For the record im 60 yrs old and disabled,my son does my wrenching now,he knows jeeps not blazers. HELP. Im truly sorry that this has to be my first other than saying hi post.

From the sounds of it you have the NV233 transfer case (3-button dash switch). If that is the case, have a read through this thread and then search from there:
OBD2 Non-Automatic Transfer Case Diagnostics

There are many threads discussing the diagnosis of the NV233 transfer case. There are a few others located in the Tech Article (DIY) section as well.
