New here need help 4wd indicator light

Default New here need help 4wd indicator light

Hey guys i traded me 89 retta for a 97 blazer.I am having a problem with my 4wd light.None of the lights on it are on.When i first got the 2hi light would be on sometimes then quit alltogether.Last week we got a lot of snow so i switched to 4hi.The light came on but the other day it quit lighting up also.None of the lights are on.Thanks for any help.

The first step would be to check the fuses. 2nd would be to check the connections at each of the following items: switch, TCCM, and encoder motor.

Is there a light that comes on when its in 2wd....I didn't think there was...

Mine has a light for when its in 2wd, though it doesnt always stay on, I think its a lose connection to the bulb. The 4wd lo and hi lights stay on just fine.

I've checked the fuses.Forgot to ad that the 4lo light still works.No lights for the 2 or 4hi.Where are the locotions of the other conections.Thanks again

I believe that the TCCM is located under the dash near the center on the 96-97 trucks. The encoder motor is on the driver side of the transfer case near the front output.

Yes i checked the bulbs.Burnt out.Replaced them and all is good.
Feel like an idiot.Thanks for your help

I learn a long time ago when it comes to a blazer it is almost always the most obvious thing
